NASA has a very special grant they give to inspired citizens each year is designed to reach for the stars and beyond. The NIAC grant is given to any person that pitches a crazy enough idea that just might work. In the past winners have gone on to develop ideas for space elevators, laser heating technology, and a compound that is used on the James Webb today. Our goal was to create a video to inspire the audience in the goal of more applicants and thus more world changing ideas. From your basement to Mars.
